Country Kitchen Gonzales

The food here was amazing it's a nice little homestyle buffet with fried chicken and fried fish and a lot of Louisiana dishes. The salad bar was fresh. Everything was hot and fresh. They kept everything nice and clean which sometimes can be hard for buffet style restaurants. All the servers were nice they checked on our table several times. My mom and I enjoyed this restaurant and we would definitely visit again. P.S get the apple cobbler.

I’ve been coming here since I was a little kid. Came on a Friday night for the first time and it was great. Staff is always very friendly and highly attentive. The food is always good and fresh. You gotta try the Mac and cheese!! The friend fish and shrimp and corn soup was also good. This is a great place to eat for some good home style cooking. Great price. 15$ per adult

This is an excellent country style buffet. The choices on the menu rotate throughout the week. It is good home-style cooking at an exceptional price. The owners are very hospitable and the staff are on top of it when it comes to service. Highly recommend for a good meal like grandma used to cook.

I just had the complimentary meal for Veterans Day. As always, the food and service is great. After many decades away from home, it is wonderful returning to a place that hasn't changed. Thanks to the owner and all the staff for honoring veterans, and representing Gonzales proudly!
