Customer Reviews
After a boat ride on Otsego Lake we stopped into Cooper’s Barn for lunch. We had three kids with us and the staff was very accommodating with customized orders. There was outdoor seating that was very comfortable. Also, they had separate windows for ordering food and ice cream. Ice cream in the front of the building and food in the back. This made ordering go faster. An outdoor game area is a great addition and keeps kids occupied while adults can relax. The staff of young adults were fabulous!!
Stopped here for lunch on our way to the Baseball Hall of Fame. The food was great and the staff was super friendly. The kids had a fantastic time playing Pong pong, corn hole, volleyball and baseball in the adjacent pay area. Afterwards a nice ice cream cone as a refresher. A picture perfect stop on our way..
We have been wanting to stop and eat here all season, but they have been so busy, we never got a chance to. Today is the last day they are open this season and we went as soon as they opened. The reviews we saw were really good, and the sign out front even said "juicy burgers" but that wasn't our experience. The burger had to of been cooked the day prior. It certainly wasn't fresh. It was dry, tough and barely heated through and it was very charred. Being so charred but not warm was another indication it was re-heated. The hot dog was enjoyable, but hot dogs are pretty hard to mess up. The buffalo dip was fine.. Also re-heated, not the worst thing, but certainly not worth the money. The staff was nice and service was very very fast. The area is pretty and the seating was nice.. The ice cre
The burger meat was good but the bun was cold so it was just okay. My husband had the pulled pork nachos and there was hardly any pulled pork on them and the shredded cheese wasn’t even melted. The atmosphere was nice though outside and the employees were friendly.
We only stopped here for the ice cream so we can't speak for the food. We had the soft serve & custom blended, both wonderful. Both tasted fresh, creamy, & more "natural" like the ice cream of yesteryear & did not taste artificial & chemical laden. There's plenty of outdoor seating in a cute country farm style setting. Our first night it started to rain so we sat at one of the tented picnic tables to enjoy our treats. Unfortunately, my son & I were both wearing shorts & we realized too late our ankles got all bitten up by no-see-ums & they itch something horrible for days. For this reason we took off one star for atmosphere. However, the ice cream is so good we went back for another round. This time making sure we wore long pants.
