My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and we were absolutely delighted with our experience! Gwen is such a lovely person and she told us tales of her incredible life. She was extremely accommodating and overall amazing hostess. The honeymoon suite was a wonderful and spacious 2 room accommodation, which has pictures of the past guests. It is a step back in time, where other reviews say dated, I say positively charming. We got in late on our wedding night, of course, so it was nice to just throw everything down in the first room and just pass out in the bed. It gave us room to breathe. We woke up to homemade breakfast ready for us. She also set up place settings with a nice personal touch. She says she always has a different breakfast menu and has many different place settings. My family visited Cooperstown and stayed at the Creekside as we traveled from California to celebrate our son's wedding. We had a great time. The Creekside is on a beautiful piece of property only a short drive to the middle of town. A creek borders the property and is an ideal spot for reading a book and enjoying the beautiful setting. The Inn was comfortable (like your aunt's home) and the Inn Keeper, Gwen, is tremendously friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Her breakfasts were unique and delicious. If you want a cookie cutter place to stay when your next in Cooperstown don't stay at the Creekside; but if you want to feel like your visiting an old friend, give it a try.

My husband and I have stayed at Creekside B&B for four or five days every summer for at least 20 years - and will be returning this year. Many of our fellow guests are also long-time regular returnees – the best recommendation a guest house can have! The rooms, with their private baths, are attractive, spotlessly clean, and very quiet and comfortable. Breakfast, (a generous, hot, home-made selection served every day on different fine china and glassware!) is consistently tasty. What’s more, you could not ask for a warmer, more hospitable hostess than Gwen Ermlich. Gwen, and her late husband were among the original founders of the Glimmerglass Opera and she is very knowledgeable about the opera and the attractions of Cooperstown, including the Baseball Hall of Fame. This beautiful Colonial Bed and Breakfast has some of the nicest antiques you will see in old home B&B's.Ferdinand Ermlich was one of the Founding Trustees of the Glimmerglass Opera Company, now a world famous Festival, and with his lovely wife Gwen, ran this B&B for years. Now, after the loss of her husband, Gwen runs ths B&B, and does it with great style and grace.||Each of the rooms is unique and named for its style. We were put up in "The Study" which held a full wall bookcase with numerous volumes of Mr. Ermlich' books, and many awards and Certificates adorning the walls. The private walk in shower in the bathroom was a wonderful addition to our stay. Our windows overlook a wrap around deck below, as well as a view of "The Cottage" and the creek (Fly Creek)||Every moring at 8:30 you w

My husband and I, along with friends, spent the evening at Creekside B & B near Cooperstown, NY while on vacation in the area. Everything was simply wonderful! The owner, Gwen Ermlich, was the most gracious host ever. She helped to found Glimmerglass Opera in Cooperstown and performed there. Gwen has lived a very interesting life and relayed stories of how the inn came to be to accommodate performers for lodging and scrumptious food.||||We found everything about Creekside to be the essence of hospitality. Upon meeting Gwen, she seemed to be just like a long time friend, so warm and kind. She made us feel at home and at ease. Our rooms were so cozy and comfortable and the full moon was shining through the large window at the head of the bed in the Garden Room. Gwen's delicious coffee
