My parents have lived in Lombard for over 20 years. I have been WAITING for an amazing community space like this. Jeffery is a magical human. You can really tell he has put his whole heart and soul into this extremely inclusive and welcoming space. He walks you through the space and explains his vision and how everything works. He accepts Graphic Novel donations (as well as other books) which you can borrow and buy. There is a whole art area for you to come in and create, paint, draw, color, have fun! Bring your own or there is an area of supplies he has for you! Delicious Tea, Coffee, Smoothies, a few select bakery items. Children's section and games for adults as well as children. I found Common Grounds Vibe in Downtown Lombard my new local 💎gem! It is cozy & the owner Jeffrey is passionate & personable and makes exquisite coffees, teas, and smoothies. It is also a book 📕 store + they have board games you can play 🧩 + painting 🖼️ and coloring (something for everyone). We need more connecting + creativity with our crews and less tech and this place is it. ▪️The Matcha 🍵 was magnificent ▪️The Chai ☕️ was yummy and artisan ▪️The Blueberry 🫐 Pom: Smoothie 😋 He has alternate milks🥛 too & is very accommodating to make your drink one you will remember. I love ❤️ to support small biz that are making big impacts! Share with your peeps & try it out. The energy is relaxing, has a sense of community/belonging, and creativity 🎨.

My new favorite coffeeshop/bookshop/community space! The owner is so sweet and friendly and I LOVE the concept of being a community place to hang out, play games, and make art! The coffee is amazing with some really cool custom drinks-- I thought I didn't like mochas, but turns out I'd just never had a good one until I went to Common Grounds 😆. Really good balance of the chocolate and coffee flavors without being overpoweringly sweet. I want to try all the custom drinks since the ones I've had so far were outstanding. Because they are high-quality and made to order, it does take longer than a big chain coffee shop, but that is 10000% okay with me-- I'd sooo much rather spend my money on a quality coffee made with care than a fast, low-quality one. I'm going to come back as often as I can!

A welcome addition to Downtown Lombard, Common Grounds Vibe Cafe offers not only delicious beverages, but a space for the community to gather and connect. Jeffery, the owner, was super welcoming and chill, and took time to explain the vision he had for the cafe. I ordered the mocha drink which was out of this world! I highly recommend this coffee shop to those looking for a cozy hangout spot in the neighborhood with excellent coffee. Looking forward to my next visit!

Wonderful atmosphere! Brand new to Lombard, the owner Jeffrey is a pleasure to chat with and makes a great mocha, and delicious kolackhies sp? A lending library with a great selection of books of every genre, games, great lighting and seating options, a lovely selection of music on in the background AND chalkboards with chalk and an Art Station stocked with supplies round out this lovely new comfy neighborhood spot that I can easily imagine will become a warm friendly hangout this winter.
