City Bagel Cafe

I did a catering order from this place and I’m so glad I chose this spot! The owners were so so nice and helped get it done on short notice for an early morning pick up. They went above and beyond, making the trays look so pretty. They even added extra cream cheese and bagels to the order too which is very appreciated. I am a medical rep so this order was for a hospital, and the OR staff all loved it and said it was the best bagel display they’d ever seen brought in. I wish I had a picture when it was still put together :( but I’ll still include the pic from afterwards. Such kind people to work with- I will make sure to do any breakfast catering orders with them.

This is the best sandwich I’ve had in a long time. The woman who helped me was so friendly and it was a pleasure talking to her— it made my breakfast taste better! She told me how she seasons the chicken herself and it is nicely seasoned with plenty of delicious herbs. The sandwich also came out very quickly. I know where I’m coming next time I want a great sandwich! Thank you, City Bagel!

Local deli with a neighborhood feel, even though it’s located just off Rt.31. Found City Bagel Cafe a few years back on our way to Delaware Water Gap, and now each and every time we go camping we stop on the way up, and on the way back! Although we only frequent City Bagel Cafe 5x a year, it’s super nice to walk into a place and have the owner recognize you, give a smile, and chat, as if you’d been there last week. The chicken salad wrap is fabulous, no fillers, simply chicken and more chicken! The bagels are New York style, fat, no hole and doughy.

Great bagels! The staff was really friendly when I was picking up a dozen bagels in the morning. They talked me into freshly made apple cream cheese which was a crowd favorite!

City Bagel is by far the best bagel shop and deli in the entire area. As a matter of fact you will have to go to NYC to find anything close if you are lucky. The bagels are super fresh, nice crust on the outside and perfect on the inside. Flat bagel (flagel!) are the best I have ever had. House made cream cheese selection is excellent especially the nova lox spread and scallion. They also have fresh cut fruit everyday and the mango is the best I have ever had. On top of that the owners Eddie and Stella go way beyond in welcoming and taking care of their customers. Thank you Eddie and Stella for setting up shop in Flemington!!
