Chianti Pizzeria Chatham

The chicken verona was delicious - the sauce was outstanding and the rigatoni tasted incredibly fresh. Wonderful, friendly service and such a cozy, welcoming vibe. We live nearby and are already excited to come back soon!

Had dinner tonight at Chianti’s for the first time and was very impressed. They newly renovated and it was looking top notch. The service was excellent they answered every question I had a gave recommendations on what to order. I started out with the PEI mussels, the mussels were fresh and solid meat and the light tomato sauce paired with it excellently. I then had the Grandma pie which was amazing. The owner recommended I order it on the well side which was the best move. It was crispy the cheese is very high quality and the plum tomato sauce was very good. I’m new to the area and this will be my go to spot. 10 out of 10.

The pizza here is so delicious and they are so creative with the pizza creations they make. The squash pizza with blue cheese is really good. Salty from the blue cheese and sweet from the squash. The place is old and a little run down but the pizza is very good. I really like wood fired pizza that is slightly charred on the crust. It's BYOB so if you want a drink you can bring one with you. The owners are also really nice and welcoming. It's moderately priced compared to other wood fired pizza places and the pizzas are about 12".

My family and I had gone to this pizza place. The atmosphere wasn’t the best. Not the cleanest restaurant I’ve visited. There was food and junk on the floor, stains and tears on the walls and ceiling, and it was overall pretty dull. To be honest, the cooks seemed to be talking more than cooking. Anyways… the food. I decided to order pizza at home a few days later from this restaurant. I took 3 bites out of one of the margarita slices and on the third bite there was a SCREW IN THE PIZZA. My back teeth still hurt from this experience. I am extremely upset with the quality and standards this restaurant provided and I would not recommend it.

We have been going to Chianti‘s since they opened up. The new renovation looks fabulous. The pizza is the best. You must try it. We had olives and onions. See you there!
