Chavolos Mexican Restaurant

Terrible experience. They charged me $22 for 2 ounces of Asada and four slices of guacamole. I asked very carefully if they had any food that I could eat because of allergy restrictions they told me I could order the Carne Asada and they sent out a plate of uncooked vegetables on shredded lettuce, and cheese. I had explained I am allergic to cheese and it causes uterine swelling so I bleed out of my vagina. They still brought out a salad covered and shredded cheese. I ate the steak on the plate was polite about it didn’t complain and asked for a discount. The guy smiled in my face and refused. No worries I paid and left, but save yourself the trouble and find a business that doesn’t rip you off. We stayed one night in town and had dinner here. It was very welcoming with the fireplace going and decorated nicely and the food was fabulous. The owner is very humble, and our waitress was fantastic. They made a really good margarita.

This is our absolute FAVORITE stop!! The food is always amazing and the staff is so sweet! Thank you all for the delicious authentic Mexican dishes!

Great place for someone looking for some flavor. The seating is more spread out, allowing for a less claustrophobic experience. The food was delivered to the table hot and quickly. The server was diligent and visited several times during the meal. The noise level in the dining area was fairly quiet. Several televisions were available to watch the game. Overall, it was a very nice dinner.

We had a disappointing experience here. When we walked in, the restaurant was empty and we were seated. A few minutes later, another family came in after us. They were greeted, had their drink orders taken, and were able to place their food order before we were ever asked for ours. The young guy waiter handed us menus and walked away without taking our drink order or checking back in a timely manner. It felt like we were overlooked, which was frustrating, especially since it wasn’t busy at all. We hope management can address this so future guests receive prompt and equal service.
