Boogies Restaurant

Once we were sat, it was 15 min before we were acknowledged by a server, and even then it felt like we were bothering her just by being there. The restaurant was not super busy, less than half the tables were full. After ordering it was another 25 minutes until we got our food. The omelette was cold. The worst part of the experience was that they automatically add a 20% tip onto the bill but never mention it, then bring the credit card receipt with a place to add more gratuity. If I had not looked closely at the receipt, would have unknowingly double tipped. We frequent this area of Colorado a lot and will definitely not be back here.

The food was pretty good. Real diner vibe. The wait was long, but they did have a help wanted sign on the front door. My friend thought the biscuits and gravy were very good. I liked the wheat toast and tasted homemade. They needed some ventilation inside. There are too many smells going on.

Needed a place to stop after a long drive…so glad we found this quaint spot!! The food was super yummy and the service was great! The rustic vibe as like coming home.

The most delicious Mexican hamburger I’ve ever had. The green chili was very tasty with the perfect amount of heat. The onion rings were fresh and yummy. Our waitress was warm and attentive. We received our food quickly.

We stopped here on way through for lunch. The portions were HUGE. I absolutely loved my sandwich. They let me change the grilled chicken to a breaded chicken and the skin on the chicken added the flavor I was looking for in my sandwich. My husband and son got the chicken fried steak and none of us were really thrilled by the gravy. It unfortunately had no flavor, or not enough spices so was rather bland to eat with their meals. Service was very great and they were on top of refilling cups, getting extras for us at the table like ranch and hot sauce. The Atmosphere was ok, could maybe use a dusting. But what house or restaurant doesn't. It wasn't anything to write home about hence the 4 stars.
