We absolutely loved this place. It was perfect. Super cute, cozy, and had everything we needed. The bathtub was amazing, the décor was adorable, and the whole setup felt really thoughtful. The location is great too — quiet, peaceful, and no highways anywhere nearby, so the star-gazing was unreal. It’s also pet friendly, which was a huge plus. My dog loved it and settled right in. Highly recommend. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

We had an excellent stay at cerca del cielo! Beautiful views, and well appointed. We all had a wonderful time and only wish we had more time there. Highly recommend this excellent getaway in Alpine.

My husband and I really enjoyed our 4 nights in Casa Pequena at Cerca del Cielo. It was thoughtfully decorated with an appropriate southwestern feel which included original framed works of Alpine scenes. It was peaceful and quiet with great views of the Dark Sky Stars, Twin Sisters Mountain, and lots of deer. We appreciated the outdoor seating, grill and chiminea. The separate bedroom, full kitchen and washer/dryer made this tiny house feel roomy and comfortable. It was nice to have a brisk walk followed by a hot shower in the mornings. We had the pleasure of meeting our host Kimberly who was very kind and proactive about making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Judy’s Mule is pure magic under a BIG sky! This quirky converted schoolie nails the ultimate chill-vibes combo: catch movies under the stars in your own outdoor theatre, challenge friends to a washer tournament in the sun-sail-shaded yard twinkling with string lights, or unwind by the fire pit roasting marshmallows. The expansive porch is perfect for eating, drinking, and doing absolutely nothing, while the hammock invites total relaxation. And can we talk about the Greenhouse Bathroom? That vintage cast-iron tub is a soak-worthy dream. Cool, fun, and effortlessly hip—this spot makes you want to hit pause on life and just stay awhile.
