Alpine Public Library

Something is always going wrong. Well I rated for about an hour for the director of the Alpine public library to come from lunch. When he did arrive and they were telling him about the situation that was going on I walked up to the front desk. Director Don Wetterauer got upset don't know why but I did ask a few questions like can you contact your administrator to fix the problem of what's going on with the computer? He told me there was nothing that they could do about the situation. There had been a hotspot on reserve since August so apparently something was going on with the system. Well I did explain all the situation to him but still he said there was nothing they could do. The library was a wonderful resource for me and my young children during our stay in Alpine! I was so pleased with the book selection, style , and educational activities available for kids. The children’s librarian Ms.Fuentes was great and helpful. All the librarians were welcoming. We stopped by multiple times during our stay in Alpine to enjoy the library, especially on days when it was a bit hot to be outside! The used bookstore tucked inside the library was also convenient with nice prices. We picked up several books.

This is a great place to spend some time working or reading. They also have study rooms that can be booked for a time slot from the front desk. It has a great collection of books and CDs, as well as a used book store. The wifi is free and pretty fast. I definitely recommend this if you need a place to work or read in a peaceful environment.

Very nice small town library.

Warm, friendly staff and beautiful array of books. Plus a used book store??! Le swoon. They were very supportive of our dance performance troupe (Arcos) that came through and performed in their large conference room.
