Alpine Bed and Breakfast

Our first time in West Texas to see Big Bend NP and McDonald Observatory. We were very appreciative of the communication before our arrival and were greeted like family. We spent 3 nights in the Eagle Peak bedroom, which was handy to the dining area and coffee in the morning. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom amenities top notch. We were warned about train noise, but I was awake only once to hear. The breakfast - both in dining and take out were gourmet and we were always satisfied and enjoyed the conversations. There was a comfortable common room if you needed more room for daytime activities or leisure. Two big thumbs up from this couple.

What a diamond we've found in the Alpine Bed & Breakfast. We made the long-awaited trip to Alpine Tx to see the area and explore Big Bend National Park. We had many options to choose for accommodations, but the wife and I have stayed at several B&B's in the past, and the Alpine B&B looked like a great place. We booked our room from their website, which is chock full of information, not only about the B&B, but helpful tips about the area. Sharon and Tom made us feel welcome right away, greeted us at arrival, gave us the tour, and showed us how all of the amenities (coffee makers, heaters, hot tub, fire pit) worked. The house is simply amazing!!!! Its like you stepped back in time to the late 1800's, but with all the modern comforts one would expect from a B&B. Sharon has done an amazing job

We had a fabulous stay at this sweet inn. After a week of hiking and exploring the Big Bend, we had a wonderful stay. The room s large, bright and comfortable. The house is a gorgeous, historical inn with high ceilings and ambiance. Breakfast is amazing. We enjoyed the hot tub! Thank you for all the hiking tips in the Davis mountains.

My boyfriend and stayed at the Alpine Bed and Breakfast for our anniversary trip out to Big Bend for the weekend. Sharon and Tom made us feel right at home. We were able to check in early since nobody was in the room we were staying in the night before, which was very nice. Once we arrived, Tom gave us a tour of the property, showed us around and how everything worked, and where we could find anything we needed. The house is beautiful with a lot of ornamental elements which I appreciated. I also admired the dishes, it adds such an elegant touch to the experience. We stayed in the Chisos room, and the bed was very comfortable, there is an electric fireplace which was nice since it was quite cold on our trip, we were provided with plush robes which was perfect. The towels were also soft. T

This was our first time ever staying at a Bed & Breakfast, and this definitely exceeded our expectations. Our room was beautiful and cozy with a private hot tub. The breakfast Sharon and Tom served each morning was absolutely fantastic! They sure went out of their way to make our stay a memorable one. We can't wait to come back to stay with them again!
