Casa Ramos Mexican Restaurant

This is the second time in 2 months I've been on my way south with my mom that we've stopped here right as they opened. Service is ALWAYS wonderful. Food is spectacular. We might make it a point now to hit this spot for lunch before we head south from now on. Every Casa Ramos we go to is great, and this one is now our favorite.

We love Casa Ramos and have been dining here with our family for years. We have celebrated many birthdays and also had large parties in the front room area. Highly recommend!

Placed a to go order for albondigas, shredded beef enchiladas, & Dr. Pepper sent my husband. He came home with no drink and none of the toppings. He called told them what was missing & went back. They sent only cilantro & onion then said that's all they had & told him they had no tops for the drinks that's why they didnt give him one. He said they were busy. So because they were busy they cant give our to go order the same amount of attention you do as a sit down? 2 trips across town and the order still incomplete. I went last week to dine in and my albondigas came with cabbage, spices, jalapeños, onion, cilantro and lime. Last week was my first visit in years and I thought why dint we come here more often? Today's visit reminded me why.

We stopped in Red Bluff instead of driving all the way home. Well of course as the chef and love for Mexican food we found this restaurant by our hotel. The macho Burrito was fantastic and the pork carnitas was the best in a very long time. The jalapeno margarita was the icing on the cake and went well with my spicy dinner. I so loved this meal. The waitress was really nice and very attentive to us.

We really enjoyed our experience. The portions were quite large. The food was super yummy. Everything tasted like it was a family recipe that had been passed down. The waitresses were very attentive to us both making sure our needs were met but not being intrusive. We loved the decor. There were family pictures on the walls and hand painted murals. Definitely a nice dining experience.
