A & R Custom Butchering Retail Meats and Deli

We have done alot of business here in the butcher shop. We are always treated great. Yesterday about 2 pm..I stopped in to pick up my beef. It was not busy, in fact I was the only one in there. It took 8 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge me at the counter. When someone finally helped me....it was not the usual interaction for sure. Could of been an off day maybe but I was disapointed for sure. Im sure they were ready to get closed up and start their weekend but it felt like they didnt care to help me. The amount of butcher animals we send there ($$$).., should warrant great customer service. We want to continue to support but we won't be treated poorly either.

I love their tri tip sandwiches so much that I my wife who was boarding a flight on a tri tip Friday stopped by before flying out of Redding for a 2 hr trip to Denver just to grab me a tri tip sandwich. She kept it at the proper temp the entire time. She landed in Denver and the moment after we gave each other a smooch she handed that amazing tri tip sandwich in the Denver international airport as soon as we got home I devoured it. There are no other sandwiches like A&R meats!

Love the food love the peeps love the atmosphere!! Parking CAN b an issue but that's hit/miss as busy times tend to change. They have indoor and out door dining but you seat yourself. Grab a pen a menu paper that is provided , check the menu out, mark what u want and any "special" instructions and give it to the person behind the counter. I usually go pay for what I purchased while I'm waiting for my food. They also have a fresh meat/deli counter and bones for your favorite dog! (Or cat lol) Home made desserts, salads, a selection of BBQ merchandise, The tri tip sandwich is my favorite! Served every Friday!

Awesome! Very friendly staff, I wish I got their names to thank them specifically. But everyone was very welcoming and friendly, answered questions well, and made the best sandwich I ever had!

My husband and I really enjoy this place. We have tried almost everything from their sandwiches to their sides (Mac n cheese is soooo good) their cakes are heavenly to the end of an amazing sandwich. The pictured one is their August specials ( B.L.T.A.) one of the best blts I've ever had. Also their bread bowls with clam chowder is some of the best I've had!
