Cartel De Tacos Margate

Cartel De Tacos is a family owned, small chain of Mexican taquerias. The first one opened in Coral Springs. Tonight is the grand opening of Cartel De Tacos in Margate in the Coconut Creek Professional Plaza between Lyons and 441. Street tacos are $1.49 tonight and $2 all week long on their grand opening menu. They make their own blue corn tortillas. The inside of the restaurant inside is decorated with lighted Jarrito bottles and colorful papel picado hanging from the ceiling. It was a long wait for a table so I ordered to go. They were sold out of a lot of the tacos but I was able to try the steak and chicken and they were both very tasty and went perfectly with a strawberry Jarrito. I will definitely come back for the dine in experience once the crowds die down and they offer the full

The tacos were amazing, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. The place looks incredible after the renovation — such a great atmosphere. I’ve seen some comments about service, but it was only their first couple of days open, and adjusting to new staff and systems takes time. A little patience goes a long way. This is a family-owned small business, and you can truly feel the heart behind. Will be coming back for more!

SO DELICIOUS! The tacos are perfectly seasoned and las salsa are TO DIE FOR! 10/10 will definitely be a part of my weekly routine!!!
