Capone's Chicago Eats

I’m telling you, these guys are just good old school people. The food is fresh and delicious, the chit chat is fun while you’re waiting, and they really care to give you a good bite. We had the Italian Beef Sandwich (DO NOT SKIP THIS), the Chicago Dog and the Pastrami Sandwich. All of it was absolutely delicious. And I’m posting photos/videos, but don’t judge the pastrami from my photo, I literally got the last sandwich, and I promise you that although it was a little light on meat, it was packed with flavor and fresh. We will 100% be back!

I stopped by this food truck by chance and I’m so glad I did. I had the pastrami sandwich which was perfect in every way. My wife had the Chicago dog and she said it was better than many hot dogs we’ve had while actually living in Chicago. The proprietor is a friendly and engaging guy. We’ll definitely be back!

We came across Capones Chicago Eats and knew we had to stop...and we were not disappointed. We both got the Italian beef. Sweet peppers for the hubs and without for me. The only way to get it is wet. Not dipped, not moist. But wet. Like drip down your arms with juicy goodness wet. lol Trust me on this. They have outdoor seating which I think is awesome considering they set up in a lot at the corner of Holly Springs Road and Penny Road. They make their own beef for the sandwiches so it is never frozen. Overall it has good flavor but we both felt like there was something missing that we just couldn't put our finger (or taste buds) on. All I know is we will definitely be going back soon!

Best Chicago dogs and pastrami in NC! He’s a 1 man operation so sometimes the wait can be a tiny bit long. Well worth it though!! I won’t get a hot dog anywhere else!

Great Food Truck! Something about a tight wrapped sloppy dog that I love. The Chicago dog IS the best Chicago dog I've ever had. Bun was perfect! Flavor was amazing! Superb! He makes a mean Carolina dog as well.
