Utica Bakery

Got there right when they opened because I heard the line can build up quick. Ordered moon pies, lobster tail with vanilla crème filling, tiramisu, and a mini eclair with pistachio filling and my GOODNESS this place is the real deal. My favorite part was the espresso soda I ordered. Let’s just say I’m counting down the days till they open this weekend! Tried to make my own espresso soda at home which was good but not as tasty as Utica Bakery. I’m pregnant and due any day now but praying I don’t go into labor this weekend so I can go get more UB!!! Can’t wait till theyre open 7 days a week!

Oh my goodness. WOW. For all of my fellow NY & Italian American transplants, this spot is the real deal. There is really no other bakery in NC - at least that I have come across - that is putting out Italian pastries like this. Everything was so fresh, so delicious - I felt like I was back home. 10/10, no notes. Just go.

Our biggest mistake was not learning of Utica Bakery earlier. WOW! We sampled about 8 different items and they were all fantastic. Tomato pie, not southern, brought back great memories from up north. Cream puffs, eclairs, cannoli, stuffed bread rolls, everything delicious! Can’t say enough nice things about the girl taking orders. She was very patient, answered all questions with knowledge and friendly. Definitely going back and trying some other items. I think the Belgian chocolate eclair stuffed with strawberry mousse was one of the best things I have tasted in my life! Not kidding!

My sister and I went there today and was pleasantly surprised to find a wide assortment of delicacies. The two amazing young women were so thoughtful professional, knowledgeable and so sweet. What a fantastic bakery food staff location

Open Saturday and Sundays in Apex, North Carolina...Delicious Italian style savory and sweet treats...Such as Sausage and red peppers stuffed bread, Spinach and Asiago cheese stuffed bread, Napoleons, éclairs with various fillings, black and white cookies, cheesecake , Italian slab pizza, tomato pies...The list goes on and on...Credit and debit cards accepted. Extremely friendly and personable service...it is in a food truck. Delicious treats.
