Camden House of Pizza

We're trying to eat at every house of pizza on Maine and Camden House of Pizza definitely ranks highly among the ones we've tried. The sauce is perfect (best I've had) and the ratio of crust to toppings is spot on. The greek pizza with eggplant added was really good- especially how the spinach was chopped and scattered instead of a whole layer across the pizza. Definitely a pizza I'd be happy to eat again.

My husband and I enjoyed dinner here on a weeknight. Not super busy, prices were great, and the food was YUM! We got an order of Mozzarella Sticks, a Large Margherita Pizza, and Spaghetti and Meatballs. The staff were all very kind!

I tried ordering online but the website would not cooperate. We ordered close to 7:00 at night and they said it would take about a half hour to make. The food was almost ready when we got there the place was very difficult to find. The pizza seemed like they purchase the pre-bought pizza crust like you get in the grocery store. The toppings were limited the cheese almost nonexistent. The best thing about the salad we got was the tomatoes they were fresh. If I had the capability I would have bought my own pizza at a grocery store and baked it at home it would have been more satisfying. There's a sign on the building that says it's for sale so I don't know what that means if they're looking for a newer larger place. This seems to be a favorite of locals because the place was busy.

Friendly, and relatively quick service. Calzone and pizza were much better than anticipated. I'll definitely visit this place again. It's a couple of minutes walk from the main shopping district in Camden on a side street with a few ships. Much easier to get a seat right away than the places on the main street

The owner was very friendly and asked us about our trip from Nebraska. We got a 10-inch pepperoni with garlic cheese bread to split between the two of us, it was about $28 with 2 canned sodas, fair! My wife really liked the cheese bread and I enjoyed the pizza, it was crispy. Would recommend calling ahead for pickup, as it did take some time for them to make the pizza. We were glad we got a fresh pie though! Overall was very good, just a bit greasy.
