Camden Windward House

Quite. Comfortable. Rustic. So many words describe windward house. The owners go above and beyond to make every stay enjoyable and something to remember. Right at the heart of the Mid-Coast in downtown Camden. Literally the Maine experience. No visit is without a stay here even if just a one night stop over.

We absolutely loved our stay at Camden Windward House! Matt and Dan were AMAZING hosts — so warm, welcoming, and thoughtful. The house itself is incredibly cozy, spotless, and beautifully decorated (especially with the Halloween touches — such a fun ambiance!). The location couldn’t be better, right in the heart of Camden, and everything about our stay felt so relaxing. My family and I had breakfast there and it was perfect — delicious food, wonderful service, and such a homey, comforting atmosphere. We truly wish we could have stayed longer. Everything — the people, the property, the vibe — was just fantastic. Highly, highly recommend!

We stay at Windward House every year and are always amazed at how wonderful the experience is! This year we met two other couples and all of us were extremely pleased with our different rooms, the delicious breakfast, and our generous hosts--Matt and Dan. The rooms were so welcoming and the pancakes are out of this world. Matt and Dan are very knowledgeable about day trips and restaurants. In fact, Dan recommended a new pub and it was excellent. The garden is amazing and this year it was decked out for Halloween with hand carved pumpkins and lights. We look forward to returning next year!

Such an incredible B&B! The hosts were so welcoming and gave us tips on places to see and eat. The property is beautiful with gorgeous gardens, cozy rooms, and fun common spaces that include games, a fire pit, and an honor bar. Breakfast was amazing every morning - the blueberry pancakes were the best! The location is also perfect, just a short walk into town. We loved everything about our stay and can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at the Camden Windward House on our Maine roadtrip! The property was so cozy and inviting with lots of character. Breakfast was wonderful, as well as all of the other amenities. Matt and Dan were great hosts checking in frequently to see if there was anything we needed as well as providing wonderful recommendations of things to do and see in the greater area. Highly recommend staying the next time you are in town!
