California Taco

Been there 3 times, twice I was extremely sick third time I hardly ate any of it. Nachos weren't warmed like they usually are, no flavors guacamole had more onions in it than avocado. All these reviews w lots of stats have got to be their friends and relatives. Once owner took care of me and stayed on the phone complaining about a school Mom . Don't want to hear that. No one else was there will not ever bring going back. They owned the hot dog place same location wasn't that great either

We frequent here often and the food is always delicious. My daughter absolutely loves her black beans and rice. I love the pork bowl and my son loves the tacos.

The food portions are great for the price. My husband and I both thought the ground beef meat in our burrito and salad was very bland. It didn’t appear to be seasoned. It didn’t seem like my burrito came with salsa or sour cream and it was supposed to. I added the salsa and sour cream from my sons quesadillas and it tasted much better. Otherwise I appreciate the portions and it was good once it had flavoring.

Not sure how there are so many 1 star reviews. I went here and had the classic burrito. I can tell you what. That burrito slaps! So delicious and fresh. The urge to order a second one was very strong. I will most certainly be coming back to this place. I wish this place was closer to me. This is a great break from the dozens of Italian restaurants and Chinese food in the area. If you’re considering going here and having doubts due to the 1 stars, just go! The food is fresh and so good. I will be reporting back in time when I go again to try other items on the menu.

I ordered the "classic burrito". The description from the menu reads: "Rice, black beans, jack cheese, salsa, sour cream w. taco beef or you could add Mesquite chicken, shredded Pork, shrimp or fresh veggies" I got the shredded pork. They were extremely generous with the rice. It was about 90% rice. There was no sour cream or salsa in the burrito, and very little meat. I would have been better off getting some pork fried rice from the Chinese place next door and wrapping it in a tortilla. My daughter ordered hers with mesquite chicken, and only cheese and lettuce (no rice or beans, nor the sour cream or salsa that I didn't get anyway), so she lucked out and got a lot of chicken, so they get 2 points for that, but thats overly generous all in all.
