Cajun Dragon Grill

The food is mesmerizing.. hands down the best I have ever tasted in the entire French Quarter. From flavor to texture, Cajun Dragon has outsmarted every chef in the area creating recipes from the heart. Absolutely delicious! You’d be a fool not to explore the chef’s specials..it’s slap ya mama, finger licking good!!

The pictures show a plate but it actually comes in a 20 oz cup + a bread roll. The food is good but volume (value) is lacking, common in tourist heavy areas. My order included crab, but there was no way to eat the one claw at the bar. You can sit at the Garage Music Club bar and order, or you go next door into the convenience store and get take out. Definitely don't understand the overall 4.8 rating, should be more like 4.0

It’s actually inside of a bar, but my goodness, the gumbo and red beans/pork/rice were bursting with flavor! The young male server genuinely was incredibly friendly, helpful, smily and had an impressive attitude. Give this man a raise!

I went here twice on my trip to New Orleans, easily the best restaurant on Bourbon street. The food was 🔥 especially after a long night of drinking. (They close at 2am). Service was very good too. 10/10 recommend.

Chad, the bartender, was fantastic! He was funny and very personable! The red beans & rice is probably the best I’ve had in New Orleans (and I have visited multiple times and gone to multiple restaurants.). My husband loved the spicy seafood gumbo. My husband and I loved how they served the food in a to-go coffee cup. It made the service much quicker because once we were done we could just take our cups and go without having to get a box and transfer our food over to it. 10/10 recommend.
