Caffe Prego

We wanted a pizza and chose this place. Caffe Prego did not disappoint. They have a good selection together with other menu items. The pizzas are 11", a decent size and have generous toppings, you will not go hungry here. The waiter was attentive and friendly. Can easily recommend Caffe Prego.

One of my favourite restaurants in Ogunquit- you HAVE to try Quattro Stagioni pizza (one quarter of each topping- olives, artichokes, mushrooms, prosciutto). Save room for the gelato whoopie pie and affogato!! Outdoor seating on the deck has an ocean view depending on where you sit!

Our family’s first night in Ogunquit and we chose Cafe Prego for dinner. It did not disappoint. The service was excellent. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. The food was also excellent. The pizza crust was delicious and the salmon special was top notch. Also do not miss out on dessert. The gelato selection was vast and yummy. Would definitely eat here again and recommend to anyone visiting the area.

We have been to Caffe Prego a few times. This time, four of us came for lunch on a Sunday afternoon and got right in. Service was pretty good, although I think there was a lite bit of a language barrier. After our bruschetta appetizer, We all ordered sandwiches. I had the chicken caprese panino, which was good. The crusty bread and soft mozzarella was a great combo. My critique, I think the orange awning gives everything an unsettling color, as you can tell from the pictures, and the music was slightly too loud. Other than that, we had a nice time.

As a local, we get to taste the best Ogunquit has and Caffe Prego is one our absolute favorites. Zach and Donovan make sure everything is perfect with their amazing food and service. Their staff is friendly and very attentive whether you sit at the bar or in the dining areas. Caffe Prego is a must for anyone who enjoys authentic Italian food or just a gelato for dessert. Enjoy!
