Cafe Arielle at the Stabin Museum

What a unique restaurant! We heard about the food and experience, so we wanted to check it out. We really enjoyed the opportunity to walk around the museum and see some of the art - definitely worth a visit! The food was good as well, but the experience is where this place really shines. We started with the smoked Salmon, which was a good quality of smoked salmon with some great pairings. The short rib we thought was good as well, but the real standout was the fish which was very well prepared and seasoned. The crispy skin was outstanding.

Friendly service and a charming atmosphere, with a variety of dishes—including a good Philly cheesesteak and healthy homemade coleslaw. The museum and art gallery of Victor Stabin tucked inside the restaurant adds a nice touch, making the wait for your food feel like part of the experience.

The brie and the salmon were delicious. The cocktail wasn't bad. I got a basil martini and my girl got a pear-something. We really enjoyed them! The atmosphere was great and so was the service. Our server was a young man and he was very friendly and helpful. I recommend it and will definitely be back when we visit Jim Thorpe again.

This place was pointed out as one with underground water ducts that can be seen while dining. So we decided to swing by for a quick drink. Place shares an entrance with a small art museum - museum to the left - bar to the right. Yes, we were there on the busiest day of the year and clearly staff was overwhelmed, although i wouldn’t say that they were packed! They tried - but clearly the frustrations showed. Still - that should not reflect on the quality of the drinks or prices! First were terrible - cheapest alcohols used and second were expensive. You can sit inside and outside. I would assume during a regular day - parking would be easy to find but on the day we visited we were lucky to park for 25$ within 10 min walk of them. Our waiter was great. Food was good .. they ran out of the Strawberry spinach salad 🥗 but I got a replacement.. place was quite wen we arrived started to get packed alil before 5 pm , I guess they dont cook 4 til 5? But the decor was inviting and the smiles accommodated the atmosphere and they all were very easy goin with my 2 year old spoiled grand child who absolutely loved the glass enclosure that allows everyone to view the natural water way that runs under the many different shops .
