Butter Half Cakes

We used Butter Half for our elopement cake. The cake was not only so so cute but so delicious!!! It was clearly made with love. Would absolutely get a cake from Butter Half again.

Nicole baked an amazing two-tiered chocolate cake with vanilla frosting for our 50 person June 2024 wedding. It was so delicious that many guests had second helpings! I appreciate that it was moist and rich (dry wedding cake is my pet peeve). We would 100% recommend Butter Half Cakes for affordable wedding cakes in Seattle.

I stopped by the microbakery stand on a Saturday morning. It's basically a cake vending machine in the yard of a private residence (presumably the bakery owner's). You purchase slices by scanning a QR code and paying on your phone, which causes the door to automatically unlock, allowing you to retrieve your slices. It relies on an honor system, trusting that you won't take more than you purchased. The cake is heavenly. It's difficult to recommend a favorite flavor given that they rotate weekly, but I'm confident that anything you choose will be delicious. The cake is perfectly balanced, not too sweet, and paired with smooth, light frosting that enhances without overpowering. That being said, the slices aren't that big and they go for 12 bucks a pop.
