Burrito Shak

My wife and I ate here and really enjoyed the food. They have a nice variety of food and are very fast to make your food. We met the owner while there named Jonathan. He was a very hard working owner leading from the front. He was even wipping down tables and cleaning the floors. We introduced ourselves to him and commeneded his team. I would encourage anyone who likes burritos or a bowl, to go here before you go to Chipotle. Burrito Shak is better. Try it for yourself.

I’ve been coming here for a few years and have always loved the food and service, but I went in today and the service was a complete 180 because of a new worker. I’ve never received such a bad attitude while the place is completely empty as well. I can usually excuse it if it’s busy and they’re probably tired, but there was no reason for it today. The usual guys working there are super nice and helpful, but this one needs to change the attitude or look for something new. Safe to say I probably won’t be going as often which really sucks!

Visiting from out of town and heard lots about this place from family and friends in town.. saw the ACP special and was so excited to try. I ordered a bowl with tortillas on side as well as chips and queso… as described said double chickens and double rice … so I knew it would be enough food for 2 people. When I got home that bowl was barely 1/4 full and left us hungry and wanting more … but after spending $20 and still being hungry will not likely return. It’s a shame because what was there tasted decent … I will say staff was VERY welcoming and friendly upon entry — so service was top notch but when things are described as double you’d think it would indeed be double. There are other national chains that I’ve been to that I could eat a regular bowl for 3 meals

This place has gone totally down hill, off the cliff. It used to be good and very convenient. Now, the portions are ridiculous, the order comes our wrong, and one if our orders had literally 10 chips in the bag. The other order was missing the protein altogether. We used to go fairly often, but tonight was the last time. Oh, I tried the online chat help, got no response. This was a pickup order, maybe if you eat in you can do better. Follow up: We received a call from the owner later that night. He apologized, gave us a refund, and explained that they are dealing with lots of staff turnover and training. Not too often businesses respond with help. We will be back to try again and hope for the best.

I'm not sure why it's usually empty when I go but I'm ok with that. Plenty of seating to choose from and not loud at all. Service is always quick. Food is normally really good, that's why I keep going back. I prefer Burrito Shack over Flaming Amy's (more flavor in my opinion).
