Burlingame

Dinner at Burlingame was a treat and set the tone for a memorable celebration. I had the Wagyu steak special, and it was outstanding—beautifully prepared, rich, and incredibly flavorful. We also shared the escargot, which was indulgent, perfectly seasoned, and downright delicious. The food was excellent. Service and environment were good and a fantastic start to celebrating five years together on Amelia Island 🥂

Went for a nice couples dinner. Food was mixed, with some lows and a few oks. Service was below average except for the very high bus who cleared out silverware twice much to our amusement. Perhaps you have to know someone but $95 per person (no alcohol) should feel a little nicer than “well, glad we didn’t have to do dishes but what a waste.”

Our evrning at Burlingame was nothing short of AMAZING!! Michelin Star quality start to finish! A true adventure for even the most discerning of palates! Every selection was artfully presented and surprised you with flavors and textures that blended together to deliver joy with every bite. It was a foodie's paradise! The staff is delightful and works together like a well oiled machine to ensure the ultimate dining experience. They're friendly, attentive, knowledgeable of the menu options. and make you feel like a valued guest from arrival to departure. The ambiance is perfect as well. Many thanks to Tanner for getting us in to celebrate our son's birthday and to Jillian for her outstanding service! If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience, Burlingame is an absolute must!

We were pleasantly surprised at dinner this evening. The Burlingame menu looked so conventional online that we doubted it would be good. We were wrong. Preparation was very well thought-out and service was excellent. The taste of our steak frites and gumbo were both mouth watering - much better than average, with tenderness and well-balanced flavors. The lemon meringue dessert was perfect - even reminded me of my Mom’s key lime pie. Our cocktails were very well made and our sever didn’t even blink when I asked to change the glass of red wine I ordered. All of this just to say that if you’re on Amelia Island, don’t miss Burlingame. You won’t be disappointed.

Date: May 2025 Note: a bit upscale, so prices are high and portions are on the smaller end. Reservations are highly encouraged and there isn't a dedicated parking lot (typical for the area) 10/10! The food was absolutely amazing and the staff was wonderful. Every member you walked by greeted you with a smile. Very unique flavors combined on every plate we ordered. Even the vegetarian option had a variety of flavors that somehow didn't override one another. The location is beautiful, and the outdoor seating was surprisingly bareable for Florida in a 90°F+ day. The food is on the more expensive side and the portions are a bit small in comparison to your less expensive restaurants, but the portions don't leave you hungry as they are portioned to what you should eat, you're just unlikely to ha
