Burgers and fries

We stopped in after getting some feed down the road. We were greeted and sat immediately. There is enough seating and the waitstaff isn’t overwhelmed to make you feel ignored. Good service and a bus atmosphere. The food is really really good. We ordered waffle and a chicken strip, cheeseburger and curly fries, and a kids burger and tots. We ended up ordering to go for another waffle and cheese burger. So good. Note: my 8 year old says the waffle tasted like Waffle House. The cheese burger is a messy cheese burger, be ready with napkins. The curly fries are just fantastic. Overall we had a great time and will come back.

My first time eating here. The food is amazing, hot and fresh. I had the mushroom swiss burger with onion rings. Burger was cooked perfectly and the onion rings are so worth it. My friends had the meatloaf special and a bacon cheeseburger with fries. All the food was amazing! Friendly service too!

Absolutely AMAZING!!!! 20/5 Stars! We walked in and were promptly seated around 6pm. The place was already pretty full but they found us a nice quiet booth in the back. Lisa was our server she was quick and on point with everything! We had stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer which were cooked just the way they are supposed to be with beer batter and not cornmeal! I had Gary's Breakfast which was biscuits and gravy with my choice of meat which of course I chose sausage! The misses had Chicken Fried Chicken which she said was absolutely fabulous! Thank you so much for the hospitality we will be back to try something new!

We went to have breakfast with some friends. It was my first time at this diner, however my husband and friends have been here before. The service was outstanding.The ladies were attentive to what we needed. The food was very very good. They had good portions. The atmosphere was awesome. I enjoyed the layout of the diner. It made me feel like I wanted to be in that era. Absolutely loved it all!! Will be back.

Burgers & Fries has been a local staple for several years, and I’ve enjoyed it in the past. Unfortunately, my last two visits haven’t been quite as good. The chicken fried steak ($12.99) was very tough and difficult to cut. The fried squash was greasy and soggy, and the ketchup bottle on the table was dirty. When I opened it, the ketchup was bubbling, so I opted to ask for packets instead. That said, the burger at our table looked fantastic — thick, juicy, and topped with crisp vegetables. The fries were also perfectly crispy. I’m hoping this was just an off day, because they’ve done better before. I’ll likely give them another try.
