The children's librarian Ashlee is the nicest woman I've ever met! All the kids love her. If you haven't been to storytime it's an absolute delight. Great kids area and very helpful staff. My holds always come up really quick. Thanks!
Not from PA, but was in the area and the kids wanted to check it out. Nice library with a great setup. Private areas for studying 📖 or small meetings, play and sensory areas for the kids. Plenty of tables for reading/computer work. The garden in the back is perfect and serene. The "bell section" outside by the entrance is a nice touch.
i love our library! open, with plenty of sunlight, clean, has a great collection of books and online resources and the staff is very helpful. Also, very thoughtful from childrens perspective. they have stools for them to stand on in restrooms and around the computers to use the computer. Always a pleasant experience. hanging out here
Lovely Library ❤️. A small but resourceful place for study and young, developing minds. Next to an art and a historical museum. Beautiful to stroll around, relax in, and appreciate literature.
The Doylestown Library is one of the worst libraries on Earth for disabled people and outside visitors. Employees at the top are stunningly unfriendly, rude, and unhelpful toward these two groups. Unlike most public libraries, which provide guest computer passes for visitors, the one in Doylestown does not allow anyone without a Doylestown Library card to use any of its computers except the single one that's situated high off the ground with no chair or stool that could reach it. Thus anyone using it must stand the entire time! This is impossible for anyone who uses a wheelchair or walker or has disabilities that prevent standing for long. I wonder if this is an ADA violation.
