Bubba's Shrimp Shack Tappahannock

Everything was great! I did an online order.... The Okra was plentiful and tasty. The shrimp were very large and fried perfectly. The catfish was the jewel....crispy on the outside, flaky and delicious!! Service was amazing. I'll be back each time I'm in the area. Note: I had let my onion rings sit a little too long, so they dropped em in the hot oil quickly to reheat and I was extremely grateful for that welcomed experience!

Excellent food and service. I do not normally offer a 5 star but our lunch was amazing and the service was excellent. A little about the service, I did not find the unsweetened tea until the server brought me a bottle. This was over and beyond what a typical walk up and order restaurant would provide. Way to go Bubba’s. We will return each time we are in Tappahanock.

This is the best "Hole in the Wall" seafood place in Tappahannock. We were surprised by the large menu of items and specials like frog legs and alligator! Chicken wings with homemade sauce-wow, delicious! The fish portion was incredible, the fried shrimp was so delicious. We will definitely be back soon!

First. These are the two sweetest females in Virginia. The service is beyond excellent, .this is home. The cookin' is real. Great place for lots of fresh made fish baskets, meals, sides. There probably isn't a fish here you wouldn't like. There is a wide variety of ocean species. Excellent establishment but it's tricky to find ... It's by the Lion store. Find it and eat good today! Highly recommend.

I don't consider this the South, but the hospitality and service would make you think otherwise. Having great fried catfish on top of that makes it all the better. We stopped here on our way to Virginia Beach and it was worth the extra miles. Everything was delicious.
