Brooklyn Bagel

There food is really fresh, definitely love this place for that but they run out of bagels so fast. I always come here at a specific time due to work and driving 15 minutes and back for a favorite bagel they don't have honestly sucks. As far as service, it's great people in the shop but sometimes they leave things out. I was suppose to have 3 Jalapeño cream cheese, paid for 3, and they only put 2 in the bag. And this isn't the first time that this has happened. That's why I'm commenting on it now. Mind you, those small cups of cream cheese are like $2 bucks and some cents each which I feel like if they made the cup size bigger charging that, it Atmosphere is nice but there's a smell in there that bothers me. I ordered a BLT around noon today and the bacon came extremely undercooked. I literally had to take off the bacon and microwave it for 2 minutes when I got home. The bagel itself wasn’t even that good, practically burnt. Spending $16 to have to finish cooking my food at home is ridiculous. Also, the worker dropped half of my friends chicken salad bagel and said “still want it?” She didn’t even offer to make her a new one and charged her FULL price. It was such a weird and awkward situation. It seemed like the employees were confused why we’d come to bagel shop and ask for a bagel lol

Not even one star. I politely asked for a lox bagel and asked what it comes with. The lady said it comes with capers and lox. I get home and called to say there are no capers, and they said they wouldn’t put capers with this sandwich and then they said they ran out - Hence this is a $16 sandwich.

I’m originally from Brooklyn and am pretty picky about my bagels, Brooklyn Bagel hits the mark. I live in Plymouth but find myself at Brooklyn Bagel to get my fix. The outer layer isn’t too hard and bagel itself is soft in the inside. The egg bagel has the touch of sweetness I like. The cinnamon sugar bagel is another favorite of mine. I’ve switched to getting a toasted sesame bagel with cream cheese and it’s perfect every time. The shop itself reminds me of the bagels shops in NYC. So happy to have found Brooklyn Bagel. It’s worth the drive for me.

Easy restaurant concept, horribly executed. Customer service is incompetent from crawling slow ordering and still getting the orders wrong. Food flavors just meh. Unless you just getting a bag of cold bagels don't waste your time.
