Bloomfield Township Public Library

A well-appointed, gorgeous public library. I entered on a Friday afternoon and found the library busy with teens studying, all ages browsing books and seniors filling several tables playing cards and board games in a rec. room that is right at the front entrance. I browsed the little bookstore and purchased a 1000 piece puzzle from Springbok and two cd's all for just $5.00. There is a children's room right at the front of the entrance. Also at the front of the entrance are a nice selection of mobility aids for those that need a little assistance getting around. The entrance itself is full of beautiful plants, trees and scenic decorations, making the entire vibe very welcoming. It’s a beautiful library. I’m quite impressed with the libraries in the entire state as an out of towner. And even more impressed with the amount of people that are here working during the summer during the day. I love it and I’ll be back.

I dropped in to visit the library last saturday. The grounds were beautiful. The library was exceptionally quiet and clean. And to top it off, in their store, I bought an art book about the flint art institute, for $5

First class library that any city, township would love to have. The materials and beautiful setting make it a great setting to relax and enjoy all the books, magazines, and other media in basic libraries, but the BH library has a fantastic children's play area as well. Kids from all ages can spend hours there reading and playing with learning as a part of the fun. With other kids playing well it's a great time.

used to love this library but now it’s become a social hour instead of somewhere to study. it’s honestly insane how loud it is at all times with no staff trying to correct it. the only way to focus is to get a study room which is also difficult. completely unacceptable.
