Customer Reviews
The food here was excellent, and sitting at the bar made for a fun, relaxed experience. Our server was attentive and friendly, and the drinks were top-notch. The menu offered a wide variety of options, with plenty of choices for vegetarians as well. Everything we tried was flavorful and well-prepared. Between the great service, tasty food, and welcoming atmosphere, this spot is a solid choice whether you’re grabbing a casual bite or enjoying a night out.
Food was phenomenal! From service to view, everything was perfect. I know reviews talk about a long wait but it was nice waiting with a drink by the water. I definitely recommended these drinks: Aperol Sprits frozen and the bloody Mary. For for food: the hot lobster roll, blackened chicken tacos, fried fish tacos, the burrito, and the shrimp and fries.
Went here for family dinner (about 30 people) after my mother's funeral. Everything prepaid for. Staff very friendly, our waiter was fabulous. Shared calamari appetizer with my niece- very good, except the cherry peppers were fried in the same batter as calamari & unless paying close attention you might not get what you intended to eat. Calamari very good, peppers too hot for me. Sister and I had surf and turf - I got steak, she got flounder roll. Both very good. It is too pricey for me and i llive out of state (Arkansas), so probably won't return again.
We were on a short tour of the CT shoreline to revisit the many places we have been to many times over the years. We stopped in Stonington to see the sights and have lunch at Breakwater. It is a great casual restaurant built on a pier out in the bay. Seating inside and out but when weather is nice like today, outside is the best. We had fish & chips and fish tacos. Both were excellent. Add a beer and it was perfect! Views of the water and boats are really spectacular.
My husband and i came here for the first time on our honeymoon and it was amazing! The happy hour you can't beat the price for the quality of food it is delicious and Matthew is very accommodating and awesome thank you guys for a great experience next time we're in the area we will definitely be back
