Leeward Inn SB

We had an absolutely wonderful weekend at this charming B&B! The very cozy accommodations were spotlessly clean, incredibly comfortable, and blissfully quiet, providing the perfect retreat. Wendy and Jim, our gracious hosts, prepared outstanding breakfasts each morning; fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully presented, with highlights like homemade pastries, locally sourced fruits, and perfectly brewed coffee that made starting the day a delight. The breakfasts alone were worth the trip! They were attentive to our needs without ever being intrusive, striking just the right balance. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

Surely the best B&B Breakfasts in Connecticut! Our usual Stonington borough Inn was full and the Leeward Inn was high in search results for nearby alternatives. Such an excellent discovery. Ensconced in a lovely quiet neighborhood, the Leeward Inn has three well-appointed rooms in a separate garden building--we stayed in the Osprey-- and the truly delectable breakfasts are served in the home's cheery sun room. One morning, for my husband's birthday, Wendy and Jim added their birthday singing voices and a candle to his first course apple cider muffin, and followed that with the best homemade corned beef hash and perfectly cooked eggs we've ever had. Each of our four mornings there the menu was different and the dishes delicious. We heartily recommend Stonington borough's Leeward Inn.

My first B&B experience and it won't be my last. The Borough is a perfect place to slow down, unwind and take in everything around you. Walking the streets felt like a movie scene, every house just as quaint as the next. Wendy and Jim are the absolute best hosts. The breakfast was a 10/10 every morning. I can't wait to come back!

My stay was everything that I hoped it would be. The rooms cozy and clean and delicious breakfasts. The morning I was checking out my car battery died. Jim the owner worked on my car battery for about half an hour and my car started. I so appreciated his effort. I will be returning and I recommend this Inn to all. Antonia

This may be the nicest of the hundreds of B&Bs we've ever stayed at. With the rooms being in a detached dwelling surrounded by spectacular gardens, it's more like a vacation home rental. The properties, gardens, and grounds are impeccably maintained and full of true New England Coastal charm. But wait, there is Breakfast! Breakfast like you have never experienced before. Scratch made, the posted menu in the morning sunroom changes daily. Experience gourmet delights beginning with French-Press coffee, then a first course starter of muffins or a panna cotta (both spectacular!) by Wendy, followed by the freshest dazzling and hearty creations from Chef Jim of stellar eggs, pancakes, or omelets, etc, garnished with edible flowers. Fabulous! Add to that the hosts being lovely, warm, and helpful
