If you’re in Cutchogue, check out Braun’s Kitchen. Super fresh seafood since it’s tied to their fish market. They got the best fried calamari and don’t skip the Po’ Boy and Fried Flounder Sandwich. Chill spot, nothing fancy, but great for a casual meal. Outdoor seating’s the move if the weather’s good. We’ll definitely be back!
Amazing selection of fresh seafood. The swordfish we picked up was wild-caught, and it seems like most of their offerings are as well, which is rare to find. Everything looked very fresh, from the oysters and clams to the jumbo shrimp. I noticed they also had some frozen Chilean sea bass, so that may be something to try next time. If you love seafood, this is a great spot to pick up quality ingredients and make a standout meal at home. They also had one from Maine. We took it back home to try.
Stopped here in between wineries for a Lobster Roll. Honestly the best Lobster Roll I’ve had! How it should be, toasty buttery roll, loaded with succulent meat. Nice that fries and coleslaw are included as most places you just get chips or nothing. Worth every penny. Highly recommend!
Love the hot lobster roll! Fast and friendly service. They have easy parking with indoor and outdoor seating. Be sure to take cash for gratuity.
I’ve lived and vacationed in New England my entire life and have easily eaten 100+ lobster rolls. I can’t think of one that was as good as this. Braun’s is super casual and unassuming, so I was truly surprised by the quality. As my first lobster roll of this season, this set a really high bar. I’ll be back!
