Customer Reviews
Blue Iris Bed and Breakfast is a wonderful place to stay. The hosts are very friendly, warm and accommodating and have created a gorgeous paradise set on a 2 acre property that is meticulously landscaped. Once inside, there is a feeling of a high end inn that was actually built from scratch by the owners. The breakfast is over the top delish! The home is centrally located to the vineyards on the North Fork. And about a 15 minute ride to the marina in Greenport where you can catch the ferries to Shelter Island , Sag Harbor and Montauk. If you have the opportunity, stay at the Blue Iris B&B.
Our weekend getaway for a family wedding was made that much more special with our stay at the Blue Iris.||The owners, Lorry and Jerry, couldn’t have been more friendly, answering our questions about the area and the inn itself, and the breakfast was a feast. ||There are only 3 guest rooms, and ours was very comfortable. The property, which the owners take care of themselves, is huge and gorgeous; broken up into separate gardens with sitting areas. ||The location is also perfect, with both Bedell Cellars and Pindar in walking distance, and everything else close by. Highly recommended!
My husband and I stayed here after our wedding and it was perfect. Lorry and Jerry were the kindest and Jerry definitely made a killer breakfast! It is close to the wineries, greenport brewery, and Greenport in general making for a very nice long weekend. We will be back!
At the last minute, my wife and I were able to get away for one night to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We were able to make dinner reservations relatively easy, but that would be a different review. Overnight reservations, not so easy. After trying multiple, in excess of 20 different lodging possibilities, I came across the Blue Iris Bed and Breakfast in Cutchogue. Well, our guardian angels were definitely watching over us and their names were Lorry and Jerry, the owners of Blue Iris. They were so gracious and welcoming. They made an exception to allow a one night stay, as opposed to mandatory two-nights. Fairly common on the East End of Long Island in the summer.| The room was comfortable. Even used the fireplace for ambience. The breakfast was absolutely superb. We also w
We absolutely loved staying here! Lorry and Gerry have curated a beautiful space that is welcoming, cozy, quiet, and peaceful. Breakfast was amazing - I have celiac disease and they were exceptionally accommodating, I felt very at ease. They are incredible hosts, 10/10 would stay here again!
