Brad's Bar-B-Que

Do yourself a favor. It was a rough winter, you deserve it. Put the taste of the south in your mouth at Brad's BBQ. As a truck driver I've had lunch all over the country, and in 48 states you can not do better than this. Succulent ribs, delectable smoked pork, and the best sides going. You will be glad you took this advice if you have never been. If you have already been, go back. What you waiting for.

I don't know what happened. I've always loved their food. Picked up two plates to go recently and was so disappointed. I'd drooled waiting for the usual delicacy of their onion rings. When I opened them at home I couldn't figure out what they were for a split second. No golden crust. Just slick, mostly black rings. We tried to eat them, but they were too hard. I'd asked for sauce on the side, but both came soaked. I will go back, but I'll unpack and check before I leave next time.

My son and I traveled from Dacula GA to meet some family at Brad’s for a birthday celebration. From the time we walked in we were greeted and seated by Ms Missy. The aroma of the food was amazing. It was 11 of us and Ms Missy took care of our orders and did it with decorum and pleasantries. I will definitely visit here again when I’m passing through to Anniston. Thank you Williams, Ms Missy and all the other staff!

Sometimes I should just know better, but I gave this place a try. Unfortunately for me the establishment was going to close a half hour before I arrived. So I ordered a full slab to go with sides. Once i returned to my hotel less than a mile away, I proceed to dine on my order. I am guessing the slab of ribs I received had been sitting under the warming lamp or a warm tray for a while. Not only were they over done, they were not even warm, more on the cool side. Like they were sitting out for some time. The side of BBQ sauce I received was warmer than the ribs. REALLY????? Does ANYBODY TRY THE FOOD BEFORE THEY SERVE IT ANYMORE??? If I owned this place I would be embarrassed by what they served me. Excellent place to eat BBQ. The ribs are awesome. Try the Mac and cheese along with the baked beans for sides. There is ample parking. The inside is very clean and spacious. I would definitely eat here again. Revisited on 6/15/21: The food is just as good as the first time. BBQ plate with chopped meat and sauce was excellent baked beans and Mac and Cheese was consistently good again. The scrambled hamburger was an exciting surprise. It’s like a sloppy Joe with coleslaw. Excellent concept. Juicy and delicious. Of course the okra and greens were exceptional as well. The place was clean and the staff friendly. Make a point to visit here. You will not be disappointed.
