Food looks good but…it’s what the neighboring table called: “Mid.” Look. I want any small business to succeed but this may be the most so-so meal I’ve had for this price point in NOLA ($55 for two). Some of it may be flavor profile that doesn’t match my palate but my buddy agrees with me. And the table next to us said: “we’ve lived in this neighborhood for 2 years and only been once. We want it to be good so we can come back.” We ordered 2 wing flavors: kimchi lemongrass and the jerk. Both were super dry. It could be the size of the wing but it’s probably bc they were refried the wings. How did I figure? Disappointing First Visit – Great Potential, Poor Execution We were really looking forward to trying this place, but unfortunately, our experience left a lot to be desired. From the moment we walked in, things felt off. It had just rained, and there was no floor mat at the entrance—nowhere to wipe wet shoes—which made the already greasy floor a slipping hazard. The overall cleanliness of the restaurant was a big concern: open lids on food containers, a personal backpack sitting right next to the meat slicer on the kitchen counter, and no visible food safety practices like covering ingredients. So, review are always subjective, hence I could see this as a 5 or 2 star facility depending on your priorities. The Food was all delicious, but will never make the cover of Healthy Dining , etc. It's Deep Fried Goodness, and if you are good with that, you won't be disappointed. We had the Meat pie, Filet Smashburger with beef fat fries, Roast Beef Sandwich, Sliders and chicarones which were light and crunchy. The outdoor dining was nice and has the Old New Orleans Neighborhood Vibe, well shaded, slight breeze and mossy Oaks. Service was SLOW with only 2 working the grill and front as well as serving . Janae’ was amazing! Seriously, she was such a pleasure. The daiquiris are so good, I love the new flavors she mixed. The Mr.Tea is a hit. She also introduced me to some new beers that’s I actually liked, being that I’m not big on flavored beer. She knows her stuff! && Her energy was so lively as she moved throughout the spot. She’s the type to talk and vibe with anyone. I’ll be back literally to try her new mixes and definitely to chat.! She’s a winner 🤍

Really tasty little place that blew our minds when we found it. Found it on our way to Tulane and it’s a hidden little gem with incredible food and an awesome staff. Went with a Tea Daiquiri that was the coldest drink I’ve ever had then some wings that were incredible and one of the most popular treats the meat pie! Over the top spot!
