My new FAVORITE place! Flavor explosions, fresh ingredients, great value. I will definitely be coming back here regularly. - Everything we ordered was so good. Love how many choices they have - from plates to sandwiches, sides, drinks, desserts, etc. - Portions were generous and prices reasonable - Service was very quick and friendly - Seating was plentiful inside and outside - Cleanliness was awesome - Love that they have house made hot sauces to add even more kick to your food Don’t miss out on this place! I can’t wait to try even more food here.
This may be one of my favorite spots in the United States. I ordered a few different plates to extend my experience, and everything was a hit. The amount of food included in each plate was so abundant that my friends and I had to take two plates back home, and what was pleasantly surprising was that the plates tasted even better the next day with a little bit of heating up in the microwave. For the price they listed, it's a truly economical option and a neighborhood gem. Honestly I enjoyed the mango slaw, the beans, and the garlic rice very much. The mango slaw wasn't too watery or had too much mayo, and the mango bits provided extra depth in its flavor profile. The rice and beans were very well seasoned and I could really just eat it by itself without the meat. Of course, though, the mea
This was hands down one of the best “finds” we’ve had in a long time! From the moment we walked in, the staff was genuinely friendly and welcoming. The restrooms were spotless and fully stocked (always a good sign), and there are several seating options. We chose the covered, enclosed patio area, which had such a great vibe. The music brought the Caribbean energy to life — upbeat and fun — and just loud enough to fade Aurora into the background. We ordered the Bucco Plate and the West Indies Plate, and wow… both were absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The grilled chicken was cooked perfectly — juicy, tender, and not overdone (which is rare and so appreciated). The sides were not afterthoughts either. The black beans, white rice, slaw, and maduros were all flavorful and held their own
Good food! Nice variety of different foods. Good prices. Excellent desserts. Fun place. I highly recommend Chef Dans Loco Moco and the 1AM sandwich. Two thumbs up! :)
The drinks, food, and staff here are amazing. You really get great value for what you pay. The guava cheesecake was incredible, the jerk chicken was juicy and flavorful, and the tostones and yucca were perfectly crisp. They paired perfectly with the aioli. The drinks were delicious and beautifully presented. My only issue was that while sitting on the outdoor portion, I saw not one but three mice running around. It definitely took away from an otherwise great experience.
