My husband and I stopped by here while in town. We almost didn’t go because of the reviews about burnt coffee, but I’m glad we came. The coffee tasted great and they had a nice variety. They also had bagels which were super soft, and 3 choices of cream cheese. They had a spicy bacon cream cheese which was so good, I would come back just for that. The staff were super friendly and the atmosphere was nice. I love the decor, it’s very welcoming and comfy to stay awhile.

We had coffee, tea and Italian soda. Everybody was CRAZY nice. We’ve got a major streak of good people going on. We loved the kitschy atmosphere and had a great time talking and interacting with everybody. We’ll be back for sure!

An absolutely fabulous locally owned and run Cafe! The atmosphere is always friendly and comfortable, the workers are kind and attentive (even when asked to make drinks with odd combinations or subtractions from what's on the menu 😘), and I've never had a drink I didn't thoroughly enjoy! They also have a shelf of for sale items by local artisans, and a nook of card and board games to enjoy with friends while getting your daily caffeine fix!

Kyla and Jay were amazing 🤩! I kinda wondered in, not sure of what to expect or to order. But they put me at ease. Kyla made thoughtful suggestions due to my 'sensitivities'. The warmth, customer care and all around good spirit make this place ranked as #1 on my list of 'Most Go' spots in Athens Tennessee. I will be revisiting Blue Front soon...hope to see y'all there!!

Blue Front Coffee Co is a cute, cozy coffee shop in downtown Athens, TN. Great place to hang out and paint for a bit (or work on your laptop, play some of their board games, or just enjoy the atmosphere.) Friendly service, decent mocha, and convenient, adjacent parking.
