If you travel for food like I do, you’ll want to add Blue Dolphin Seafood Bar & Grill to your list. This spot did not disappoint. The menu has plenty of variety — if one dish doesn’t tempt you, there are lots of other solid options waiting. My picks? The crab imperial stuffed whole lobster (the showstopper 🔥), garlic spinach, and a side Caesar salad. I also tried the shrimp and crab cake combo with French onion soup — all hits. But let’s talk about that lobster. The crab imperial stuffed whole lobster was rich, flavorful, and absolutely worth it. And Mondays? They offer 1 lb whole lobsters for $10 while they last. Whew! A win is a win. Great food, great service, and plenty of parking. I’ll definitely be back — probably on a Monday.

We didn’t know anyone personally who had been there, but the photos and buzz convinced us to give it a try. We are so glad we did. We drove about 40 minutes and arrived without reservations. That part was on us. We didn’t realize how strongly reservations are recommended. The wait was about an hour, but it was completely worth it. The restaurant was packed, which told us right away that this place is well loved. While we were waiting, we noticed something special. The owner, Mr. Pete, was actively involved at the front desk. He checked the waiting list, greeted guests, and spoke to many customers by name. You could immediately tell he has built real relationships with his clientele. The

This was a wonderful first time experience. The staff were really cool and it was fun to see two different parties have their birthdays celebrated by the staff. The food was absolutely delicious and a huge portion. The Shrimp cocktail was fresh and the crab cakes were broiled just right and weren't dry. My waiter's name was Tony. He was very professional and down to Earth. I enjoyed myself and the food very much. I will definitely be back in the near future.

First time visiting Blue Dolphin Seafood in Gambrills, and it did not disappoint! I went with friends visiting from Virginia, Atlanta, and Tennessee, and everyone loved it. The food was fresh, flavorful, and the portions were huge — definitely worth the price. The crab cakes were the star of the show — perfectly seasoned and packed with meat, not filler.
