Bloomingdale Public Library

Very cute kids section with lots of toys, a play kitchen, puppet stand, tree, doll house and much more. Many fun games and activities to check out at the front desk

Easily accessible library in person and electronically. Plenty of parking, press open doorways inside and out. All types of media available to check out. The children's section is downstairs. There is a small teen area where you can color, play video games, read or do homework or play video games. Renovated bathrooms have handicap stalls available. New outside locker available for material pickups. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Currently, June 2023, summer reading is in progress. Read books, sign up and get a t-shirt and have the possibility to win gift certificates when you record the minutes read. October 2023, the library is prepped for Halloween, spooky and thriller DVDs on exhibit, also witchy romances. Currently the library is a drop off for winter wear for veterans. A Hallow

Staff is so friendly - just good vibes all around. The layout is also very impressive

We did the story and play time today and had so much fun. My son, 17 months, did not want to sit during story time but really enjoyed playing with the toys. I liked that they had lots of different toys to see how my son played with them and see if there were any I felt we needed at home. We will definitely be going again.

Fantastic public library! Great staff, great resources (especially research), and great books. Even have "George Washington's Liberty Key" and "Strategy Pure and Simple: Essential Moves...."
