Abashiri Japanese Restaurant

today I made an order and was very pleasantly surprised. when I made the order there was an error. and by mistake I received other rolls. but the woman quickly finished the rolls that I wanted and gave them as a gift. I am very grateful for such an act. once again you have proven that you are the best. these are my favorite Abashiri sushi. they are incredibly tasty and fresh. good luck to you

The best all you can eat sushi around the area. This place is absolutely phenomenal! The sushi is fantastic. Crazy sushi roll as well as the baked lobster roll were so unique. The Las Vegas roll, pictured with the jalapeño on top, was so delicious. Alex was an incredible server and had a great attitude. Made our experience even better. Overall I would highly recommend coming here. I do suggest making a reservation as it does get packed.

Friendly staff! I took my 5 year old daughter for a sushi date after work and stayed to build a Lego set. They were so welcoming and kind. Food was delicious!

I almost feel guilty writing this review as I seldom like to write one given I've been in the hospitality industry in my younger years. I'm a native to sushi and having been around this area for shy of a decade and I wanted to try a new sushi place as I've often ventured out usually 30+ minutes to my other 'go-to' spots. I was searching for quite a while and eventually landed on Abashiri in Bloomingdale. Reading other reviews, I was very hopeful that the food was going to absolutely deliver. Upon walking in, I noticed the place was not yet too busy, it's not by any means a large restaurant but it's not super small, it would best be defined as 'cozy' even at ~5:00PM on a Monday evening. Love this place ! The food is super fresh the staff is friendly. Best part they don’t use a ton of rice on the rolls . Most all you can eat places use a lot of rice on the rolls . This place is very fair…..
