The food is so good — we usually come here once every two weeks. However, the service this time was very disappointing. It wasn’t busy, yet we waited around 30 minutes and still didn’t receive our food. It felt like we were made to wait so long just because we asked for two separate bills. When we also asked for a refill of the sauce, the employee said they had run out even though the bottle was right there. The lack of attention and poor communication made the experience frustrating.

Block Taco is an absolute gem in Wilmington! This tiny taco spot delivers huge flavor, and we were blown away by how fresh, vibrant, and delicious everything tasted. Each taco was packed with bold seasoning, quality ingredients, and that perfect street-style flair that keeps you coming back for “just one more.” We visited on a Tuesday and scored their awesome special — any 2 tacos plus chips & salsa for just $10! Total win! The chips were fresh and crunchy, the salsa had the perfect kick, and the tacos disappeared way too fast because they were THAT good. What a gem of a place. I personally vote this place as the best nachos in town. Normally, I like eating nachos there and when you do takeout, the chips get all soggy. Idk what voodoo magic they do but their chips stay crispy until I get home15-20 minutes later. I recommend the nachos with the carnitas meat. Perfect combo. I also absolutely love their tacos like carnitas, asada, and fish. The green sauce which I ask for a side is delicious and their red sauce is spicy, so beware.

Wanted to rate 5 stars, but I have several suggestions. 1. Prices on single tacos are quite high, would be nice if an option to buy 3 or more in a discount bundle option 2. It would be nice to have a few additional flavors or options available for taco choices also The taste was good and the spicy hot sauce was great.
