Black Rock Bar & Grill

We had dinner with a large family group. We were seated promptly on a Saturday night. The waitress was courteous and accommodating. We all had the sirloins and salads. We had ordered 2 appetizers but they gave us 3. One was a mistake but they gave it to us on the house since it was fresh and didn’t want to take it back to the kitchen. It was a feast. The steaks and side dishes were delicious. We have always had a great meal here. It’s one of our Go To places to eat. The only drawback is that it’s always smoky in there because of the way th steaks cook at the tables. That’s minor. We highly recommend!

We've been coming here 2-3 times/year since they opened, but after this last experience, I think we're done until some things are changed. The heavy smoke and poor ventilation are the biggest issues for us. Sometimes it's so thick, our throats are irritated and stepping outside to breathe in the fresh air is a huge relief. It's been like this for years - can nothing be done to help or correct this? Other locations are not nearly as bad. The cleanliness has also gone downhill. The menus were sticky and greasy, there's a layer of dust on the TVs and vents, and these pictures are from above the booth we were eating at. So gross and unacceptable. I'm sorry I looked up. The food is ok, but the upcharges for sides are ridiculous. $3 more for overcooked broccoli? The mashed potatoes were lukewarm

Husband and I cam here for our 5th anniversary, and it did not disappoint. The food is always top tier, and the seasonal dessert, the Apple Brulee Cheesecake, was probably the best dessert I've ever had in a restaurant. But the real showstopper tonight was our Waitress Madison. She was attentive, knowledgeable and just fun to talk with. I will always be requesting her moving forward! My only gripe is that they removed the Trufflie Fries from the menu.

This was our first visit to Black Rock and wow, we were so impressed. We received a gift card and figured we'd use it to celebrate my husband's first week back for his masters. The food was delicious but I will say, what made it even better, was our server Michelle. Right from the start, she was warm and friendly, offering her menu suggestions. Our drinks were always full, she was attentive and so nice! Her daughter Madison seemed very kind as well even though we didn't get the pleasure of meeting her directly. We tried the pretzels and cheese - ridiculous. So good. Had the steak and Lobster tail - amazing. And that butter cake.... show stopper. We will absolutely be coming back and have already spread the word to our family. Thank you Black Rock for a wonderful evening out!

Loved my first experience here at Block Rock! Michelle was our server and was so warm kind and professional! She made our experience so memorable and fun. Michelle is an excellent server we will be back again with our other friends. Thank you Michelle you are amazing and the steaks were out of this world!🥰
