Excellent family run Ethiopian restaurant! Food is delicious fresh and healthy. Staff is attentive and proactive. I’m so glad a place with so much heart and soul has moved into this neighborhood. They are more morning/afternoon focused but offer some dinner (kitchen closes ~7). Traditional Ethiopian breakfast offerings along with a unique coffee / cafe style. I’ll be back to try their stew!
My husband and I have been waiting for the doors to open since we saw the sign go up. We went the weekend it opened, and it did not disappoint. The people there were lovely. They asked if we were vegetarian or ate meat and offered us a grand opening sampler. The food was absolutely delicious. Hands down one of the best meals I've had since moving to Seattle from Houston, Tx. The spice level was perfect. I crave the Sambusas. The pastry was flaky and filling was warming and cozy. Even the beets on the sampler platter are craveable. But the best was the chicken they served in a thick red stew like sauce with a hard boiled egg. I told the very kind lady who was cooking for us that I would eat that sauce on everything! It was incredible. We were told that they would have bites to go where we c
Went to the grand opening of Bite of Ethiopia and it was amazing. The whole experience was so warm and welcoming from start to finish. The music set the perfect vibe, and the wall art was absolutely exquisite. You can tell a lot of thought and love went into the space. The food was oh so tasty. They served buffet-style portions, so we got a generous amount of food and were able to try a little of almost everything except the kitfo. The sambusas were delicious, and the doro wot and tibs were easily some of the highlights for me. Everything was flavorful I didn’t even know most of it was vegetarian and most even vegan. so much food that we had leftovers to take home, and honestly it tasted just as delicious warmed up the next day. That’s always a good sign haha I’ll definitely be back and w
I had a really nice experience at Bite of Ethiopia. The sambusas were amazing—crispy and full of flavor—and the veggie platter was just as good. Everything tasted fresh and the injera was perfect with it all. The service was warm and welcoming. I’ll definitely be back.
The staff was super friendly, the place feels so cozy, the colors on the wall are vibrant. The food was delicious, I had the veggie combo and a side of samosas, and it was hands down the best Ethiopian food I’ve ever had living in Seattle. I’ll for sure be coming back again soon.
