Bit and Spur — stopped here for a quick dinner on our last night in Springdale and were pleasantly surprised by how good it was. 🌮 Food: We started with chips and salsa that had a surprisingly spicy kick, followed by the roasted poblano mac and cheese, which had a fantastic blend of flavors and richness. My wife ordered the wagyu beef tacos and really enjoyed them. Everything came out fresh and well-prepared. 👩‍🍳 Service: Our waitress, Shilo, was awesome. Super kind, efficient, and clearly juggling a lot of tasks with a smile. 🌵 Aesthetic: The restaurant has a warm Tex-Mex charm with cozy indoor seating and great outdoor tables, perfect for taking in the Springdale evening atmosphere.

We enjoyed Bit & Spur so much we ended up eating here twice while in town - and ordering the same dishes! Highly recommend the Shishito peppers with aioli and Sweet potato tamales with pork. Those are also apparently some of their bestsellers. The blueberry mint mojito was 💯 … The food tasted very fresh, the servers were friendly and, we received all dishes quickly. We’ll be back on our next visit to Zion! One new item we tried was a fish taco special - the fish was pretty dry, so while the flavors were excellent I wouldn’t recommend that dish.

WOW! Great food. We came in on the last Tuesday of October and were able to be seated right away. The restaurant was nicely decorated for Halloween, but you can still feel the really nice decor throughout. My husband and I split an appetizer and an entree. For our appetizer we got the Brie quesadilla, it was so good, such a unique flavor in a quesadilla, would’ve rather had the quesadilla on a white quesadilla over wheat, but it was really good. For our entree we had the sweet potato tamales with pork. Again, a really great and unique dish. The rice and beans were cooked to perfection. Lastly we had drinks, I got a lemonade and my husband got a prickly pear virgin marg, both were delicious. They both felt hand crafted, not from a box. Would definitely recommend to others traveling to Zion

The food was ok. The black beans were really good and the sweet potato and mushroom tamales were much better than the sweet potato and pork tamales. Skip the elote. It was disappointing. The atmosphere is fun.

First timer to Bit & Spur on a recommended from a close one. It's about 1.5 miles from the Zion NP main entrance and a favorite to tourists. It opens at 5pm for dinner only. I arrived a few minutes early and a line of 10 at the door with more cars parking. There's plenty of seats with most sitting on the covered front patio. I sat at the bar with no problem. I had the Wagu crispy tacos (3) for starter and the Chicken enchilada combo entree plus an IPA. To my surprise food service was within minutes. Presentation was delightful and each item was designed for flavor above normal mexican entrees. I RECOMMEND Bit & Spur and will return next Zion trip.
