Biryani Pot Express

The portions here are huge, the goat biryani lasted me 3 meals. Even mild spicy was too spicy for me. The food seemed very authentic and taste really good. The menu was extensive and the staff are friendly. Nice place for lunch as a team.

We visited Biryani Pot Express and were truly impressed. The food was incredibly tasty—authentic flavors, great variety, and everything was fresh and well-prepared. A special shoutout to Shivani, who was warm, helpful, and went above and beyond to ensure a great experience. We were so happy with the quality and service that we ended up placing a catering order for our daughter’s graduation. It turned out to be a great decision—everyone loved the food! Overall, a good spot for delicious Indian food, whether you’re dining in or looking for catering. Highly recommend!

Their garlic naan, veg biryani and mixed vegetable curry are great. One of the best restaurants in Irvine. Ambience is ok. Service is great.

I visited this restaurant for the first time and ordered Haleem, Chicken 65, Chicken and Mutton Dum Biryani. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The haleem tasted more like plain lentil paste with very little meat. The Chicken 65 was just average nothing special. The mutton dum biryani had no real flavor and mostly tasted like fennel seeds, with no authentic biryani aroma or richness. Chicken biryani i can give zero star. Overall, the food lacked taste and quality. I would not recommend this place and will not be returning. Continution to my previous post. This is the response to the owner. Was here twice within last two weeks. the first visit experience was ok with Biryani averaging the taste & appetizers tasting great. Our 2nd experience was wonderful, Mutton Biryani was excellent
