Old soda fountain style ice cream shop. Good stuff. I enjoyed the butterscotch malt. Hubby had a single scoop dark chocolate w almonds. Very good. $8 for a “large” 16 oz. Not cheap but pretty good it could have been a lot thicker for the price. The option on the I pad for a tip is a bit of a turnoff. I’m of the opinion that if I stand to order and get my treats in a paper cup w plastic spoon. For $13 for a malt and a scoop. I’m good. Cute place. It’s a local favorite clearly as is the Northwestern steak house, as they suggested it.

Lots of History. You want the best Ice cream around here it is for sure! I had a pmpkin pie sunday. I dont care for pumpkin. This was amazing!

I love the old-school malt shop vibe. My husband grew up here so, of course, he needed to introduce me to his favorite Vanilla Malt. I was more interested in the Flavorburst, but their soft-serve machine has been down for quite some time. I ended up getting their seasonal Peach Sundae. It was phenomenal! As far as flavors go, this didn't have the artificial fruit flavor at all! The toppings were so fresh without being overly sweet! We also got a sample of their London Fog, and yeah, I'm going to stop by on my way back to Des Moines this week to get a couple pints of that! If you love delicate tea flavors, I highly recommend it!

This family owned gem is a treat to the community. I was visiting the town. When I entered, I was greeted with smiles and a warm welcoming. It was nice to see how the business is flourishing. I decided on The Gary. Vanilla ice cream, carmel, cashews & ? (Haha) I had no clue to what the powdered flavor was, and they were kind to let me try. I was told it would be really good as a combination. Can I just say I should have ordered a larger size. The Gary came through as a delightful treat. Thanks for the smiles & kind service.

Omnomnom!!! Birdsall'd was recommended to us and boy, do they have good taste! While I couldn't eat them (not gf), I was thrilled to see they had Poffertjes on the menu! Good for them! Such a fantastic treat! Husband and I loved our sweet treats. It was a quick visit and the staff was on top of each order as they came in. It's worth it to stop in. And when you do, please, try the Poffertjes and leave a review on how they were!
