Customer Reviews
My husband and I had to stop here for breakfast while in Blue Ridge. We came early on a Sunday morning and downtown was pretty quiet with plenty of parking. The inside was nicely decorated and very homey. The two workers we encountered were also super sweet and accommodating. It felt like being with family! The food was SUPER good. We had two biscuits and the tots... so yummy!! We couldn't get any mimosas at that time but they had delicious orange and pineapple juice. We can't wait to stop in again sometime soon.
The whole place felt like false advertising, especially in cold weather. It was 33°, but the “feels like” temperature was 17°. We stood outside in line for almost 30 minutes just to get inside. Once you finally make it in, you order a drink at the beginning of the bar and then walk all the way to the end to place your food order, which makes zero sense when it’s freezing and packed. Apparently no alcohol can be served until 12:30 on Sundays (a statewide law), but as vacationers there was no way for us to know that and nowhere was it clearly posted. We came specifically for a mimosa and warm breakfast, only to find out they close at 12 anyway. The menu clearly lists mimosas and Bloody Marys. The menu also shows burgers, but they don’t serve them until 2 PM… again, they close at noon. The
Very busy place but quick service! I only stopped in for a coffee before I headed to expedition bigfoot. The coffee was delicious. The staff was very friendly. There is a nice patio to sit and eat / drink outside if the weather is nice too!
Incredible biscuits. I got the Mad Henderson the lady got the Yeti. We both were blown away by the quality and flavor. Mimosas were spot on. Tater tots were top notch. Handmade fresh biscuits. Smaller venue/kitchen so there may be a wait but it’s totally worth it. Atmosphere is nice as well.
We were traveling to Blue Ridge and my husband found this restaurant online. We didn't knew what to expect. There was a short wait and you ordered at the counter, paid, then they bring you your food. We sat out back and it was chilly so they had the outside heaters and it was very comfortable. Dog friendly which I loved to see. Food, service, and live music was great. We highly recommend!
