Swan Drive-In Theatre & Diner

The greatest place in Blue Ridge hands down. If you love movies its the place to experience. Staff is always great and the food selection is fantastic. Coming here with the kids is a memory I will never forget. They always find a new friend before the movie and if you get one of the cute radios they can watch the movie on a blanket in front of the screen. We have gone 3-4 times in the past couple months and it's always a great time. It's definitely one our favorite things to do in Blue Ridge.

This was our first trip and it did not disappoint. We drove over 2 hours to experience this drive-in. We had a great time. I love that this drive-in has been here for 70 years. They have done a great job keeping it very much like it was originally, The sound and the picture quality were very good. You can tell all that has been updated and upgraded. The diner food was very good, and the menu selection has a wide variety. We saw Zootopia 2 and it was just as good as the first, if not better. Thank you Swan drive-in theater for a great and memorable experience. We will be back.

I love this place! It was my first time at Swan and I wanted to take my daughter for the drive-in experience. We even got trash bags for our car. This business seems to have everything covered…right down to jump starts should your battery die. I rented the little radio since my battery is iffy. It was little and cute, but put out a lot of sound. When you get out of the car, there are speakers outside as well so you don’t miss a thing. The picture was crystal clear. Part of the fun was getting their food. We had burgers, chili cheese dogs, fries, and fried cookie dough. Plus, making decisions on floats was a tough choice! We had an orange soda float and an hot apple cider float (it was winter). So many choices! Best of all, was the friendly service. It was winter and there weren’t many cars

Great nostalgic drive-in. They are really nice, too. The sound quality was great because you tune in with your car radio. You can also rent a little radio for your car for $5. I recommend you do that because I got a warning from my car that my battery was going to go into energy saving mode after about an hour. The movie started about twenty minutes after the posted movie start time. They have a good selection of food at the snack bar for reasonable prices. I liked that they had security patrolling throughout the night.

We love this place. The "greasy spoon" style concession stand is worth the price. The movies are always a good time. Parking is ample and most spots are elevated to ensure good viewing. We have been renting their speaker and for something so small, it sounds great. This place take me back to my childhood, where my family would take us on the weekends. Drive Ins like this are a dying breed and deserve to be supported.
