Brewery: ​Big Block City: Maple Valley, WA Why would I come back: My Granddaughter (and her wonderful parents) lives 5 minutes away 😁🍻 Latest outpost of Big Block, taking over the former Lumber House brewery. starting out with a nano-two-barrel system in a Sammamish garage has expanded into a local hemi-powerhouse with four distinct locations: Sammamish, Redmond, Carnation, and Black Diamond. ​True to its name, the brewery celebrates classic car culture lots of classic car and beer tin signs. ​The tap list is impressive, featuring fan favorites like the Cherry Stout and the sweetheart "The Boss" Honey Pale Ale. Saw this place on Facebook while headed to another spot for dinner. Came in a little later and was greeted by Lydia. Got the mini corn dogs, salad and the wings and of course a delicious beer to wash it all down (Rasberry Blonde. The beer was so good I couldn’t just have one. The food was all cooked exactly as we asked and was very fresh and delicious. I loved the theme. It was like a really nice garage and of course car themed. Lydia and even some other customers were very personable and friendly. I will certainly be back again.

Great Visit to this local brewery. So happy to have this place close to home. Whe had Flathead Red, wings and mini corn dogs. (Sorry for no photos, we were hungy). Staff is awesome, we plan another trip across the bridge to try the rest of thier beers.

If you’ve been to the other locations, you KNOW the beer is exceptional! The owners have most definitely put in the time and love into all of their locations. And the staff at each one? The best! But now? Now we get great beer AND food at Big Block Black Diamond??? What more could you ask for? Tasted both the grilled chicken sandwich and the Parmesan garlic wings. Wow! Cooked to perfection. Flavor for daaaayyyyysss! The garlic aioli on the chicken sandwich was incredible. And the chicken breast itself was moist and seasoned very well. Also, those wings! Wow! You really don’t need a dipping sauce at all! Finally, the fries. I’m a double-fried fry lover and these do not disappoint. I’m also a ketchup gal and you know what? These fries were delicious on their own! No need for ketchup. Also,

Great little spot for a good meal. Had the Burger and fries and it was top notch. Seriously one of the better burgers I have had in a while. Great selection of beers. Family friendly so the kids can go. Small menu, but everything we had was great and the food on the other tables looked very good as well. Not really loud and they have a room upstairs for a party or gathering. Staff was great and will definitely revisit again soon. One suggestion for me would be to offer a flight to try multiple beers that they brew, other than that it was a good time with nice views of the mountain.
